Designed to simplify user identification and authentication, and make it easy to integrate biometric control into a wide range of payment, state allowance and micro credit applications, the Bio 930 wireless family of terminals seamlessly optimize the entire biometric control process. From fingerprint capture to the fast match-on-card electronic analysis – in less than one second – these wireless biometric-enabled terminals are perfect for both enrolment and control transactions. An integrated sensor enables instantaneous fingerprint capture and electronic processing, while biometric templates can be stored in the terminal or a remote database, or used to customize a user’s smart or swipe card. A rich choice of communication options – V32 fast modem, Bluetooth, Ethernet or GPRS – are available.

Built around Ingenico’s industry proven high secure core to provide assured secure data and application management, the Bio 930 wireless series of terminals deliver the ultimate in secure transactions. Fully EMV and PCI PED approved, supporting the latest international security algorithms (DES, TDES, RSA, DUKPT and Master/Session), the Bio 930 wireless family also feature an embedded MorphoSmart™ biometric module for seamless biometric identification and authorization.

Performance

Thanks to Ingenico’s Telium 32-bit architecture and its EMV level 2 kernel, the Bio 930 wireless series delivers the super fast processing of powerful cryptographic algorithms to make fast-paced biometric transactions a reality. A built-in MorphoSmart™ module analyses fingerprints in less than one second, while an integrated fast printer pumps out receipts at 18 lines per second.

Design/Ergonomics

Designed for environments where security and speed are a priority, the wireless Bio 930 terminals fit snugly into the palm of the hand. An ample sensor enables fingerprint image capture for instantaneous digital processing, while a large graphic screen plus intuitive keypad complete with navigation keys help ensure users fly through the entire transaction process with ease.

Communication

Alongside a Bluetooth local radio link that delivers communications between terminal and docking station, the Bio 930 wireless series feature a wide choice of connectivity options to enable optimized on-line or remote server communications. Select from either a fast modem or GPRS models, or choose the Ethernet TCP/IP version to access broadband through an Ethernet LAN.
